Johnny Tremain

Valentines day

The book Johnny Tremain is like a journey through the Revolutionary War! There is a young apprentice silversmith named JohnnyTremain, whom a tradegy occured on. Another apprentice named Dove (name was forgotten years ago) who gave Johnny a broken crucible for breaking sabbith day for their pious family. That is when the tradgegy that destroyed Johnny's life. He used the broken crucible and eventually his hand was covered in burning silver. Then he had to stay in this room called the life and death room, which was where a herbalist doctor who gave him medicine. Eventually he went on with his life. He searched through all the jobs at Hancock's Wharf 'till he found a job he was intereseted in. He decided to work at the Boston Observer where he delivered newspapers all around the colony of Massachusetts. Then one of my favorite parts was the Boston Tea Party.  Johnny and the rest of the Sons of Liberty (including Samuel Adams) dumped the tea off a british boats. Over 300 were dumped. The Revolutionary War began. The Redcoats with their rifles and bayonets were ready, they invaded in Boston! This magnificent book even included the battles of Concord and Lexington. A sad ending... an employee that worked for the Boston Observer who got shot by a redcoat, Rab, a old apprentice.

Have you ever read a book that makes you cold inside? This book is the opposite. It warms the heart like a warm, crackling fire warms the body. This heartwarming book describes, in detail, the adventurous life of a young boy, Johnny Tremian. He is the average teenage boy, with a road of life that is a little unormal Join Johnny in an exiting account of his life.

Johnny Tremain is a very exciting book set in the time of the Revolutionary    War. The main character, Johnny Tremain, must face an increasingly troubled time while trying to prove he did not steal a silver cup, spying against the British, and worrying when a friend goes off to fight in the war. This is an intriguing book, and I enjoyed reading it.

Johnny Tremain is the best book I have ever read! This book is at the time of the revolutionly war. An apprentice silversmith named johnny tremain is caught up in the action by burning his hand and ruining his career. He then becomes a rider and delivers letters all through Bouston. I think you will enjoy this book! I know I did!
